We have entered a distribution partnership for the European market with the Swiss group Meyer Burger Technology AG.
As of now, the Meyer Burger White, Black and Glass quality modules are available for order in our webshop.
Meyer Burger will soon start production of the 120 half-cell high-performance modules. The modules are available in three versions: white, black and glass-glass in standard size for roof systems weighing less than 20 kilograms. Production will take place exclusively in the company's own factories in Germany. Meyer Burger plans to start shipping the first modules from there at the end of July.
"The distribution partnership with Meyer Burger will allow us to further strengthen our position as a leading international wholesaler for photovoltaics. Meyer Burger has already made a name for itself worldwide as a technology leader in the development of PV production systems. To now incorporate this know-how into own products promises maximum performance and outstanding quality. Being able to expand our portfolio to include such high-quality, high-performance solar modules makes us very happy," says Jan Brunner, our Chief Sales Officer. "Both our quality standards for ourselves and those of our customers for the products and service are very high. Made in Europe and designed in Switzerland, the premium modules therefore ideally complement our product range."
"We are very pleased to have gained one of the pioneers of the photovoltaic industry, the Krannich Group, for our distribution. As a European quality manufacturer, it is our claim to be close to our customers, to respond to their needs and to maintain a partnership-based relationship. Krannich Solar, with its broad geographic footprint, is not only a very capable partner for us, but has supported us in entering the market from the beginning and understands our approach," says Dr. Moritz Borgmann, Managing Director of Meyer Burger (Industries) GmbH.
Meyer Burger relies on a combination of heterojunction and SmartWire technology for its solar cells and modules. The technology allows Meyer Burger to bring products to market that are more efficient and have higher yields compared to current standard products. The new generation solar modules have an approximately 20 percent higher energy yield on the same surface area than current standard modules, meet the highest aesthetic standards and are manufactured under consistent sustainability standards.
