Kostal Plenticoin

The Kostal Plenticoin can be used to activate various performance enhancements and functions. Plenticoins can be utilized for Kostal inverters and the wallbox. This allows, for example, the battery functionality for the Kostal inverters or the solar surplus charging for the Enector wallbox to be activated. The Plenticoin is a universal voucher with an activation code for Kostal product expansions. It is available in digital or analog form and can be purchased as a sealed card in the Krannich webshop in its analog version. Once booked into the installer's user account, the Plenticoins are valid for 5 years.

Usage requirements for the Plenticoin: 

• Plenticoins cannot be redeemed by end customers, but only by installers

• The installer has an available user account in the Kostal Solar webshop

• The user account is authorized to purchase Plenticoins and the authorization level "Purchase" is available

The Kostal inverter Plenticore Plus G3 can be extended to a hybrid or battery inverter using Plenticoins. Additionally, its performance can be increased by up to 5kW depending on the power class using Plenticoins. The Plenticore Plus G3 comes in three versions:

• S: 4 kW expandable to up to 7 kW with Plenticoins
• M: 8.5 kW expandable to up to 12.5 kW with Plenticoins
• L: 15 kW expandable to up to 20 kW with Plenticoins.

The advantages of this concept: Installers only need three devices (S, M, L) and can thus realize 18 different AC power classes with them and, if necessary, expand them later.

For the Kostal inverters of all Plenticore Plus series, the MP Plus series and the Enector Wallbox, the following product extensions are available and can be implemented with Plenticoins:

• Plenticore Plus G1+2, G3 and MP Plus: Activate battery function with 3 Plenticoins
• Unlock performance extension with 1 Plenticoin per performance level (either by 1.5KW or 2.5KW depending on the type)
• Activate comfort function (load shedding avoidance, solar surplus charging, charging times or a combination of grid and PV loading) with 2 Plenticoins

Handling Plenticoins is done in three steps: Purchase, Book, and Redemption.

Purchase

Analog Plenticoins can be ordered in the Krannich webshop. The sealed cards are available for certain regions (DE, EU, NON-EU). Due to tax regulations, the Plenticoin card can only be redeemed in the region for which it was issued. There is a minimum order quantity of 10 Plenticoins. 

Please note that the following information is required for correct booking:

• Delivery address
• Kostal customer number
• E-mail address of the Kostal user account with authorization level "Purchase"

Booking analog Plenticoins 

Open the seal of the card and scan the QR code with the Kostal Solar app in pro mode. Manual entry of the code is also possible in the Kostal Solar webshop. 

Redemption 

Already booked Plenticoins can be entered via the Kostal Solar app in pro mode, the respective device display, or on the inverter's web server to redeem them. 

Redeem in the Kostal Solar app: In pro mode, use the shop function, scan the serial number of the Kostal product to be expanded via QR code, select the desired product extensions, and redeem Plenticoins. 

Redeem in the Kostal Solar webshop: Log in to the Kostal Solar webshop, enter the serial number of the Kostal product to be expanded, select the desired extensions, and redeem Plenticoins. 

Safety note: Redeeming and activating Plenticoins is only permitted by installers, as the product extensions change device parameters that influence the performance and functionality of the devices.
