Krannich Solar remains on course for growth in 2022. The internationally active photovoltaic distributor is very satisfied with how 2022 has gone: "The operating business is developing well in all our branches. Market growth is again being recorded in almost all countries, and the German and core European markets, in particular, are growing strongly," Kurt Krannich sums up. The company founder is convinced that the PV market will continue to grow worldwide, as climate protection cannot be implemented without renewable energies.
Consequently, Krannich Solar is also continuing its global expansion and opened a new subsidiary in Vietnam in 2022. In the USA, two new branches commenced operations in Florida and Texas, in addition to the locations in New Jersey and California that have already been operating successfully for several years. Warehouse space was expanded worldwide by almost 20,000 square meters, and the number of employees rose to over 1,000.
Thus, the wholesaler considers itself well prepared for the future: "We closed 2022 with a significant increase in sales again," says Jens Ullrich, Chief Revenue Officer, "and expect strong growth in 2023 as well. High energy prices and increased awareness of climate-friendly energy continue to drive demand for PV." The political framework conditions are also now "green" in very many countries.
In addition to PV systems, storage systems are becoming lucrative and then frequently installed in more and more countries, both for residential and commercial systems. Commercial storage systems in particular can pay for themselves within a few years if they are well planned and tailored to the needs of the system operators. This is where Krannich comes in: "As a solar PV distributor, we are the ideal interface. When it comes to planning large systems and putting together the necessary components, manufacturers, installers and customers are happy to call on our expertise and experience."
