What will you do

ERP Specialists are primarily responsible for administrating our D365 implementation and providing support to our internal end-users. The Specialist maintains a complete understanding of the organization's D365 environment, and related services, and serves as a key point of contact for all D365 F&O issues, incidents, and enhancement requests. Outside of the ERP realm, they also assist the Digital Project and ERP Manager (DPEM) with various other digital projects that help the business to grow and become more efficient.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Digital

  • Planning stage of a project:
    • Help identifying and defining the project scope and the project's legal, organizational, and technical requirements
    • Assist with the completion of requirement catalogs and, if needed, other required templates for the system setup
    • Participate in digital project meetings to connect with and learn from other digital project members across the globe
       
  • Development stage of a project:
    • Conduct trainings with end-users
    • Facilitate the Go-Live of a digital project
      • Specific to Go-Live D365 F&O:
        • Collect and provide migration data to the D365 team at HQ
        • Validate migrated data
           
  • Post deployment stage of a project:
    • Monitor the system, end-users' performance and data quality daily
    • Provide first level support to all users of the company
    • Gather suggestions for improvement and communicate to the Digital Project and ERP Manager and the D365 department at HQ in Germany
    • Look for ways to continuously optimize the system/processes
      • When system updates are planned, perform system-related tests to check if new features are working
    • Act as a multiplier within the organization to train and support new employee/users of D365
       
  • During all phases of a project:
    • Work hand-in-hand with the Digital Project and ERP Manager to ensure the project(s) remain(s) on track
    • Provide first-level support to end-users

2. Other:

  • Perform other work-related tasks/duties as assigned
