2022: Our year in review
2022 was a year to remember! We want to thank you for coming along for the ride with us. This year was full of incredible events and big accomplishments. Let's check out some of the best moments of 2022.
Krannich Solar USA supplied thousands of solar installation projects in 2022!
We did our best to get you the modules, racking, inverters, storage solutions, and everything in between to power homes with clean energy. We take great pride in our ability to provide projects of any size, whether it’s an off-grid system, 4-panel shingled roof, or a megawatt flat roof. We traveled from state to state exhibiting at renewable energy tradeshow events
Attending these shows gave us the great opportunity to talk with local installers about their experiences with their PV projects, and how we could help them supply equipment for their next trip up on the roof. There were also a lot of chances for us to keep up with new insights and updates within the industry through networking with leading brands and manufacturers. We stayed at the forefront of solar product trends
To keep our customers up to date with the newest products and solutions, we are constantly in contact with our partners and manufacturers, including frequent visits to our locations throughout the year!
During these visits, our sales teams go through training to learn about all the ins and outs of the product(s), as well as the chance to ask questions to better help our customers during the installation project planning.
Last September, over 30 Krannich employees headed to Anaheim, CA for the nation's largest solar exhibition, RE+ (formerly SPI).
At RE+ not only did we get to see the newest and most exciting innovations in the industry, but we also met customers from across the US during our pre-game party event. We kicked off RE+ at Dave and Buster's with food, games, and the opportunity to hang out with solar industry experts and installers before the start of a busy week! This party wouldn’t have been possible without our sponsors at K2 Systems, SMA, APsystems, Solar4America, and Fortress Power.
Our west branch moved to a new location!
With the ever-growing market, our California branch relocated into a brand new building to accommodate more space to store products as well as more staff to meet the needs of solar installers! Don’t worry, we didn’t move far! Krannich Solar West is still located in sunny Oceanside, CA.

Krannich Solar West welcomed a new CEO
In addition to a new building, Krannich Solar West welcomed its new CEO, Christof Kling! However, this role is not new to Christof – before coming over to California, Christof was the CEO of Krannich Solar Mexico. He led the branch to be among the top three solar distributors in Mexico, all within his first five years of being appointed the CEO! Despite the challenging and unique market, Christof achieved success with his diligent ethics and his continuous passion for the solar industry, along with a great team he recruited in Mexico.
Krannich Solar USA is proud to have Christof join the team! His leadership and vision will accelerate the expansion of the company’s footprint and capabilities for the western part of the United States.
1,000 employees and counting
The USA isn’t the only one expanding! By the end of 2022, Krannich Solar cracked the 1000 employee mark across the world!
We’re so excited to have so many dedicated people working towards a common goal to continue to push renewable energy forward. Without you this wouldn’t be possible!
Celebrated the dedication and hard work of our installers on Installer appreciation day
To show our gratitude to all the customers who allow us to continue growing, we hosted Installer Appreciation Day events at both our California and New Jersey branches. We invited local customers and solar installers to stop by for a day of fun, BBQ food, and drinks as a thank you for their continued support and business with Krannich. Special thanks to our sponsors, Axitec, K2 Systems, APsystems, GE inverters, and Fortress Power for coming out to our events to meet with customers and answer any questions they may have, and for bringing some swag, raffle prizes and games too!
