Self-consumption for businesses
Solar power is cheaper than mains power
On one hand, rising electricity prices are increasingly becoming an economic burden for medium-sized businesses with high power consumption. While on the other hand, electricity generation costs for solar power have become cheaper. The prerequisites for profitable supply of self-generated solar power have therefore significantly improved for medium-sized businesses.
If solar power is cheaper than the cost of buying in mains power, self-consumption is worth-doing. Commercial and industrial businesses, in particular, have the potential for high levels of self-consumption, i.e. direct consumption of a high percentage of self generated power in day-to-day operations in the business. This reduces their production costs and ensures stable electricity prices throughout the entire service life of the solar system.
