Krannich Solar realises a 418 kWp roof system in Japan
In June 2014, a 418 kWp PV system that has been installed on the roof of an aluminium manufacturer in Shiga Prefecture was connected to the grid. 1,708 Axitec modules were installed on the company's pitched roof and connected to the grid using a Sunny Central 500CP central inverter by SMA. The customer has been supported throughout the entire installation process by the highly qualified PV professionals of the Japanese Krannich Solar branch office - from the system design and inverter test to the connection to the grid, which all in all took 10 months to complete.
The investor is extremely pleased with the support he has received: "The Krannich staff have always responded quickly and precisely to all our queries. The service is equally excellent, and Krannich's support with the application for the grid connection has been invaluable. Throughout this project we have always been able to count on Krannich."
The initial contact was made on the PV Expo 2013 in Tokyo. The aluminium manufacturer had been looking for a trustworthy PV partner. The company decided to use Krannich Solar because of Krannich's long-term experience in the European PV market: "We are producing assembly and installation systems ourselves. Therefore, naturally, we were keen to use our own system for installing the PV system. However, most Japanese PV suppliers only offer PV systems as a complete system. Krannich, on the other hand, is flexible and developed a tailored solution for our requirements. Due to our very positive experience with this project, we are now commissioning Krannich Solar with the joint installation of a second 495 kWp system."
