Krannich Solar opens a new branch in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

The international solar distributor Krannich Solar keeps strengthening its position in the South East Asia region and has just opened an office in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

So far represented by an office and a warehouse in Singapore, Krannich Solar Asia has been successfully running operations from this only location since 2020. The PV market facing a promising future in Vietnam, having a local office onsite seemed like the right step to take next for Krannich management.

“The idea of running operations from a single hub is a concept of the pre-covid era. We want to provide local service to our customers. The new branch with a team onsite enables us to be closer to them and to respond more specifically to their needs. In addition, managing a local stock allows us to ensure a high level of product availability, so our customers benefit from faster delivery,” says Prasanna Jayaratnam, Branch Manager Asia.

From now on, customers will directly deal with Danny Duc Ton, Technical Sales Manager, part of the team since the beginning of the operations in the region. The latest will be supported by Bui Ha Dong, the newly hired Business Developer. Together, they will advise on the wide portfolio Krannich has to offer whether it is for private households or commercial enterprises. To their main brands belong among others inverter manufacturers like SMA, SolarEdge & KACO and solar module producers such as Axitec, JA Solar & Trina Solar.

Krannich will soon attend its first trade show by exhibiting on the Future Energy Show Vietnam in HCMC on the 13-14 July. You can find them at the Adora Conference Center on the 3rd floor, booth 3C04 Hall 4.
